DROSIA (VASSILIS)

Ktikados, very close to Chora, is a very picturesque village that combines typical elements of traditional architecture. There you will find DROSIA (VASSILIS). Authentic, traditional tavern as it used to be… It started before the war, initially as a grocery store selling the main products in the village and by the time a kitchen was added. In 1970, Vasilis took over and created the tavern that until today remains faithful to the traditional tinian cuisine but also to its style. Almost 50 years later, Vasilis has the pleasure of seeing his children and grandchildren (4 generations!) showing the same love for the place they grew up together.

Choose a table on the balcony with the spectacular view of Kionia and Syros, under the flowerbed or the stone arches and give up yourself to Mrs. Irene’s hands for homemade and local dishes, timeless and unaffected by trends. The famous cod with garlic, the classic meatballs with mint, special tinian omelette, baby goat, doves and tit bits with a … poetic character!

And if Drosia is a delicious trip through time, the restaurant Maistrali in Kionia is its continuation today with Vasilis sons, Panayiotis and Miltos Krontiras to leave their own stamp on the tasteful tradition of Tinos.
