In the center of Chora and on the coastal road, across the dock where daily Tinian fishing boats are floating, Arodo is awaiting for you to…drop anchor (=arodo). A permanent meeting point for locals and new comers is open from 6:30 in the morning for the first hello and the first coffee of the day. Breakfast includes fresh juices, sandwiches and toasts, club sandwiches, savory and sweet crepes for the necessary energy and of course conversation overlooking the old port of Tinos!
The Arodo is also interesting during the day. At noon or in the evening you will choose it for its famous varieties of local roasted meats, traditional froutalia (omelette) and appetizers with Tinian products will accompany raki or beer. As for dessert, traditional donuts with honey and cinnamon is one of the possible special dishes.
The Arodo is open all year round. In summer, you relax at the tables outside and in winter often the music strengthens and the fun spontaneously rises. The space is available for celebrations or parties.
