The Red ‘n Black shadow theater at the Marble Museum of Art

The Red ‘n Black show at the Marble Museum of Art

On the occasion of World Day Against Child Abuse (19/11) and World Day for the Rights of the Child (20/11), the Piraeus Group Cultural Foundation (PIOP) presents, on Friday, November 22 (9:30-11:00 and 11:30-13: 00), Red ‘n Black theatrical performance for Secondary School groups.

This is a modern shadow theater performance by the OUPS team! A puppet theater, created by Angeliki Gounaridou and Alexandros Monokandilos.

It is a different version of the classic tale of “Kokkinosufitsa”, where the roles are reversed and the heroes follow their own journey. The play looks like it reflects adolescents’ journey to adulthood, without prejudice and stereotypes. The show has three main elements that stimulate teenagers’ interest: the peculiar technique, the original music and the story’s plot.

Admission to the show is free. Registration is required.
