Voreades Apartments: Voreades in mythology were Calais and Zitis, the two sons of Vorea, god of The Wind. Nowadays, you will find Voreades, a lodging made with influences from the local architecture with particular accent in the aesthetics of spaces, designed and decorated by the owner’s personal touch. Maro and her son, Kosmas are your hosts in a lodging of twelve rooms-apartments in the town of Tinos island. Their continuous but also discreet presence will ensure a smooth and enjoyable stay. Their personal goal is to generously offer the Tinian hospitality so that guests feel like home and discover the “handmade” Tinos island!
Voreades apartments lodging consists of two studios, 7 double rooms (standard and superior) and a two-space/four bed apartment. Seven of them have a veranda with view to the sea, the main harbor, the town of Tinos (Chora) and the neighbor islands of Delos, Rinia, Mykonos and Syros. The lodging follows the Cycladic architecture. The Tinian stone is used in all built arches, stone beds, dovecotes and hidden corners found all over the premises. All these, uniquely decorated with great taste along with all modern amenities such as wireless internet access (WI-FI) throughout, large screen LED TVs with usb media player and HDMI, air conditioning, refrigerator, safe box and private bathroom with hairdryer. In its beautiful breakfast “salon” with view to the main port of Tinos and the island of Syros, there is a coffee snack bar where guests can enjoy the breakfast buffet based on Tinian homemade products. During the evening hours, coffee and refreshments, homemade “teaspoon” sweets or snacks and drinks are availavle.
It’s ideally located in a quiet street just 100 meters from the main port, 40 meters from the main bus station and 320 meters from the center of Tinos Town (Chora) where you find the two main roads that lead to the The Church of Panagia Megalochari. On the way to the center, one will walk from the street market of local products, supermarkets, cafes, taverns and the alley with the bars.
