1980 was the year when the Kolaros family took the big decision to leave Athens and move to their beloved Tinos where they created the NOUFARA PASTRY shop, always based on the father’s long experience in the biggest confectionery in Athens (Serafides, Tulipa, Delis, King’s Palace Hotel, etc.) and in their love for their home place.
Over the years, Lucia and Nikos took over the business and developed it, giving their own stigma. They set up, in the provincial street of Agios Ioannis Porto (Vaya), a brand new workshop – a nice pastry shop, which provides, besides sweets and ice-creams, puddings of their own production and bread products.
At the two stores you will enjoy the traditional sweets of Tinos (almonds, local psarakia , sweet pies, pasteli, loukoumia), pastries, cakes, many original flavors of handmade ice cream, syrup pastries, specialty chocolates, and … many other sweet challenges! You will also find many suggestions for marriage, baptism, parties. Their common core is the pure ingredients and a combination of traditional, homely flavors with a twist!
