The northern beaches of Tinos include the famous Kolymbithra (comprising Small and Large Kolymbithra) in the northern part of the island, as well as Apothikes and the secluded Agios Phylaktos and Mandroklisi nearby. Northern beaches close to Pyrgos and Panormos include Stafida (the beach of Panormos), followed shortly by Rochari with its well-known beach bar, and across from it, Agia Thalassa and Kavalourko—unorganized spots with a unique character. Near the Tinos–Andros strait and the characteristic quarries, you will find Koumelas and Malli, while to the northwest (heading towards the village of Myrsini) lies Livada, known for its large waves during strong north winds and its “wild” beauty!
