KROK MONSIEUR TINOS. Giannis, after spending 25 years in the catering area in Athens, left the big city for his place of origin, Krokos of Tinos. He packed suitcases filling them with his experience, favorite recipes and music, memories of the village and… bowed for the playground of his childhood. That’s where Krok Monsieur was created. An all-day bistrot that combines modern with traditional and especially simplicity with quality!
In Krok Monsieur you will relax and feel that you are in the courtyard of your home, enjoying the tranquility of the village and tranquil nature in the Mesa Meri of Tinos. You will enjoy tasty dishes, international, but adapted to Greek-Tinian cuisine, dishes that combine fresh, local products and goods from local suppliers. Great emphasis has been put on breakfast and brunch, combining quality coffee or fresh juices with the notorious croque monsieur or croque madame, omelettes with village eggs, fancy sandwiches, handmade pies, salted pancakes & pastries, seasonal fruit salads and handmade sweets. As the sun sets, Krok Monsieur gradually exudes an atmosphere of an alternative bar restaurant with respect to the aesthetics of the village and awaits those who left the beach or those who just got out for the night. Carefully selected foreign music, cool cocktails, some wine-based, Greek beers and wines. As for the main dish, it includes pasta, risotto, hearty burgers, pizza made from a handmade dough maturing for 24 hours just to prove that being simple, sometimes can also be very good.
