In a lush garden, near the old port of Chora, you will find the restaurant Mikro Karavi (=Little Ship). Its Greek – Cycladic cuisine, creatively combines ingredients and flavors surprising pleasantly anyone tasting them.
Adapting seasonality to raw materials, the menu changes two to three times per year. Pre cooked products, frozen ingredients and the microwave are unknown words to the chef – “captain” of the little ship. He uses exclusively olive oil, fresh products and suppliers of carefully selected producers or local associations whilst most of the ingredients are bio.
The rich wine list focuses on the vineyards of the Aegean islands and the Greek microbrewery. Right after your meal or dinner enjoy coffee, homemade sweets and liqueurs in the yard outside.
In a very special place (a 200 year turkish bath), culinary classes and tastings of local cheeses, wines and local products are conducted.
The Little Ship undertakes social events (weddings, christenings, etc.) as well as the babysitting during them, upon request.
It’s open daily from 12:00, from February to October, and is also fully accessible to people with disabilities.
