ZARZOUELA – EMMANOUELA SANTAMOURI

Emmanuela Santamouri (nursery nurse/team animator), after her studies, worked as a nursery nurse at the “Irini” nursery school for more than 20 years. At the same time, she specialized as an animator (animateur) of theatrical play in groups of both children and adults, while she was also a member of the theater group of Tinos “Theatropoieio” for 15 years.
She has also participated in many seminars focusing on the psycho-emotional development of children and the related techniques, took place in Tinos, Syros, Athens or online.

With love for the child, imagination, respect, responsibility and many years of experience in child care, she takes care of children (from babies of months to 15-year-old teenagers) and groups of children:
– at your place
– at weddings / baptisms
– at a birthday party
– at the sea
day and night to carefree enjoy your outing or special occasion with your friends.

Depending on the requirements, safety and availability of space, but mainly on the interests and age of the young guests, she creates the appropriate themes (concepts), so that fun can be combined with creativity, choosing between:
– constructions
– painting
– facepainting
– team games
– board games
– theatrical game

From 2023, Emmanuela also created her own space “Zarzouela” that hosts her little friends, in the center of Tinos Chora (35 Zannaki Alavanou Ave.). There, during the winter months children can participate on a regular basis, while during the summer, can also participate occasionally (per hour, day, week), so as their parents can adjust their schedule flexibly.

* Zarzuela is a type of (Spanish) musical theater/opera, which combines song, dance and theatrical dialogue with a satirical and comical mood. The word comes from the Zarzuela Palace, a royal residence near Madrid, where Zarzuela performances were first presented. So Emmanuela had no difficulty in finding the name for the space she created, since it codifies her love for the theater coming to life through children of all ages, the music and singing that are an integral part of it, the joy through the theatrical game, while at the same time it acts as an easy variation of her name that always makes it difficult for young children and so they create their own versions!
