The beaches of the island can be geographically divided as follows:
– Beaches in the Southern part of Tinos: beaches close to Tinos Chora (Agios Fokas to the east of the town – Kalamia, Stavros, Agios Markos, Kionia, Platia Ammos, Vourni to the west). Continuing west, following the respective detours of the main road you find the beaches of Panousa, Agios Romanos, Apigania, Kandani. Continuing on the main road in the direction of Pyrgos village, you meet the bays of Agios Petros, Kalivia, Kardiani, Ysternia and the hardly accessible Vathi and Aspros Gialos bays.
– Beaches in the Eastern part of the island: near Chora (Agios Sostis, Agios Ioannis Porto, Skylantari, Pachia Ammos) and further (Lychnaftia, Santa Margarita, Agios Dimitrios).
– Beaches in the northern part of Tinos: the beaches near Pyrgos and Panormos villages (Stafida, Rochari, Agia Thalassa, Kavalourko), the beaches near Kolimbithra (Kolimbithra, Agios Fylaktos, Mantroklisi, Apothikes), the two beaches at the northwest edge of the island (Koumelas and Malli) and Livada beach in the southwest.
